Dr. Amelia O’Keefe, DMD

Dr. Amelia O’Keefe was born and raised in Henderson, Nevada. She attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she received her bachelor's degree in biological sciences with a minor in business administration. During her undergraduate studies she was a vital member of a research lab working toward the conservation of the desert pupfish species of Southern Nevada as well as the president of a pre-health society focusing on philanthropy and preparing prospective medical, dental and pharmacy students for admissions into graduate school.
In 2022 she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine(DMD) from UNLV School of Dental Medicine. During her time at UNLV SDM, she is proud to have volunteered for the Sgt. Ferrin Veterans’ Clinic and Give Kids a Smile.

In her free time you can find Dr. O’Keefe spending time at home with her husband Zach, a US Air Force Veteran, and their four fur-children. She also enjoys dishing up new recipes in the kitchen, painting in various media and flexing her green thumb in the garden. Interestingly enough, Dr. O’Keefe has been a patient of Dr. Wineman’s for over 15 years and she is very excited to be working alongside her mentor. Dr. O’Keefe is currently a member of The American Dental Association as well as Nevada’s chapter of The Academy of General Dentistry
