Digital x-rays are quickly becoming the standard in dental imaging, yet not all dental offices have digital radiography. Our office is pleased to provide this service to our patients for the many advantages it offers:

The digital image instantly appears on the computer monitor once taken, no more time wasted waiting for the film to be developed.

The displayed image is many times larger than the conventional 1" x 2" film and can be manipulated with the dental imaging software to highlight the problem area

Digital x-rays can be shared electronically with our referring specialists reducing the need for additional x-rays at their offices

Digital x-rays and their sensors allow the @DENTAL team to decrease the amount of ionizing radiation used by up to 90% over conventional paper and film x-ray packets.

With the image displayed on the computer monitor the patient can easily participate in the co-diagnosis and discussion of treatment options
