He always places the patient's welfare first. He easily exceeds the state mandated minimum requirement for continuing education hours each year and seeks out courses that assist him in maximizing his patients' oral health.

Dr. Wineman is an active member of the Southern Nevada Dental Society where he serves as a member of the Executive Board and as a delegate to the Nevada Dental Association. He serves as a mentor to dental students attending UNLV School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Wineman and his wife Cheri have three adult children and one grandson and one granddaughter.

In his free time, Dr. Wineman can be found working out at the LVAC at the 215 and Eastern, reading dental journals and action- type novels (Vince Flynn, Tom Clancy, Clive Cussler), and very infrequently spraying golf balls around the local courses. He and his wife, Cheri, of 32 years enjoy dining out at one of the many restaurants around the valley with family and friends, taking in a movie or simply lounging around a pool.
